Beth at Kitten Yoga at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

I am an Arlington VA-based Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) specializing in trauma informed yoga, a technique that assists in alleviating the symptoms of PTS(D).

My primary work is sharing the evidence-based benefits of yoga with anyone who is interested in exploring the practice. I believe in the power of connection that yoga teaches, and I endeavor to meet each student where they are.

Yoga is meant to be adapted to meet the unique needs of each individual. My one-on-one classes are tailored to the needs of each student, with the goal of developing yogic tools that will support balancing the nervous system and alleviating symptoms of PTS(D). Together, we incorporate a variety of techniques, including mindfulness, breath work, and thoughtful, adapted, personalized yoga sequences, developed to support each person in meeting their personal goals.

Each Thursday at 9:30am, I teach an in-person vinyasa flow class at Yoga in Del Ray (1900 Mt. Vernon Ave., Alexandria). If you’d like to attend in person, please register in advance.

I see private students and small-groups at their home, office, or at my location in South Arlington (it’s a small, private studio that I rent for this purpose). If you’re interested in practicing with me in person, please send me an e-mail so we can arrange a short phone consultation.

The Goat Yoga and special event schedule is regularly updated. Please be sure to get your tickets in advance as the sessions fill quickly.

I am available for corporate wellness events. If you need a yoga teacher or meditation instructor for your special event, please reach out.
