Yoga with Puppies!

Join us at Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington for a session of puppy yoga with a litter rescue puppies to benefit A Cat and Dog's Friend Rescue. These puppies will eventually be available for adoption (once they've been spayed/neutered) but they won't be able to go home with anyone the evening of yoga.

We are limiting this event to only 22 participants, to maintain a favorable puppy/human ratio.

The event is a mellow, mostly seated yoga practice (including a lot of dog/puppy yoga poses) for people ages 10 and older (our insurance requires participants be no younger than 10).

We will practice in the second floor loft area of Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington. Please note, the class is on the second floor of the building, with no elevator access. You will have to walk up 2 short flights of stairs.

BYO YOGA MAT

Join us for a one-hour vinyasa yoga class at Lost Boy Cider in Alexandria. Your $25 ticket includes the class and a post-practice beverage of your choice. Non-alcoholic options are available.

A donation will be made to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Non-Violent Social Change.

Children should be no younger than 10, comfortable with animals, and accompanied by an adult to attend.

The owner of Walnut Creek Farm, and human mom to the goats, Dr. Maureen, an emergency critical care veterinarian, is always on hand with her herd to answer all goat-related questions.

PLEASE BYO Yoga mat. ALL individuals entering the studio MUST have a ticket, regardless of whether or not participating in the yoga class.

Join Beth + acupuncturist Bronwyn, owner of DC Acupuncture, for an intimate, grounding, and soothing Acupuncture, Yoga, and Sound Bath experience. During this 90-minute workshop, participants will experience a full Yin Yoga practice accompanied by the soothing sounds of a live crystal bowl sound bath. 

Yin is a practice of stillness, and poses are held for 3-5 minutes on each side, supported by props. Yin focuses on flexibility and patience, by targeting deep connective tissue. This style of yoga is accessible to practitioners of all levels. During an extended savasana, you’ll receive a four-point acupuncture treatment intended to deepen the connection between your mind and body, and promote a sense of ease, deep relaxation, and easy sleep. 

This experience is limited to only 10 participants, and optional hands-on adjustments will be offered during the practice. 

Join Beth + Liat at DC's National Building Museum, featuring an all-level yoga flow led by instructor Beth, featuring a "sound experience" by Liat Pisco, a sound practitioner and owner of Yoga in Del Ray. During an extended savasana, Liat will offer a multi-sensory sound experience, featuring the gong, ocean drum, chimes, crystal bowls, and crystal pyramid.

We will practice under the colossal, 75-foot-tall Corinthian columns in the Great Hall of The National Building Museum, America’s leading cultural institution devoted to interpreting the history and impact of the built environment.

TICKETS TO TOUR THE MUSEUM ARE INCLUDED!

All are welcome--the class is open to brand new and seasoned yogis alike. No previous yoga experience required. Please purchase tickets in advance and BYO yoga mat.

Join Beth, along with a litter of adoptable kittens for an hour-long "kitten experience," including a short, guided meditation focused on extending the love we have for our pets to ourselves and one another, kitten snuggling, community, and joy.

Grab your ugliest sweater and join us in the indoor community center at Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington for a fun-filled morning of festive cheer.
