Yoga + Sound Bath at the National Building Museum

  • National Building Musuem 401 F Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

Join us for a special session of yoga at DC's National Building Museum, featuring an all-level yoga flow led by instructor Beth Wolfe, accompanied by a sound bath led by Mel of Beyond Yoga, a yoga teacher certified in crystal alchemy sound healing.

For the duration of the class participants will enjoy a sound bath featuring seven crystal alchemy bowls. Harmonic chords and binaural sounds will be played which promote balance and relaxation.

The sound bath will be amplified with professional equipment, allowing the sounds of the alchemy bowls to fill the space and Immerse participants In the experience.

We will practice under the colossal, 75-foot-tall Corinthian columns in the Great Hall of The National Building Museum, America’s leading cultural institution devoted to interpreting the history and impact of the built environment.

The NBM is located just four blocks from the National Mall, directly across the street from the Judiciary Square Metro (Red Line).

All are welcome--the class is open to brand new and seasoned yogis alike! No previous yoga experience required. Please purchase tickets in advance and BYO yoga mat.
