The National Building Museum and the Folger Shakespeare Library, are partnering this summer to present The Playhouse, a theatre being built from the ground up inside the museum’s Great Hall.
Our yoga group has been invited for an hour-long practice in the beautiful west court of the museum, which has been transformed into a fairy forest, an immersive installation based on Joanna Robson’s “A Knavish Lad,” a double-concertina artists’ book that visually narrates every scene from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Space in the west court is LIMITED. Tickets are $30, and include entrance to the museum.
The NBM is located just four blocks from the National Mall, directly across the street from the Judiciary Square Metro (Red Line).
All are welcome--the class is open to brand new and seasoned yogis alike! No previous yoga experience required. Please purchase tickets in advance and BYO yoga mat.
